If you have already opened a claim, send us the claim number and your adjuster's details and we will deal with them directly. If you have not, that is fine too — you do not need a claim, an appointment, or a decision from your insurer to find out what the repair involves. Plenty of people get an estimate first and then decide whether filing is worth it at all, particularly when the damage is close to the deductible.
Getting a useful estimate from photos
The more we can see, the better the estimate. Four shots cover most jobs: the damaged area straight on, the same area from an angle so the light rakes across it, a wide shot of the whole side of the vehicle, and a close-up of anything cracked, torn or hanging loose.
Include the year, make and model, and tell us anything the photos cannot — whether it still drives, whether any warning lights came on, whether a door or the trunk still opens and closes properly. If the damage is structural, some of what matters is behind the panels and no photo will show it.
